GA4- Exclude Unwanted (Spam) Referrals to Protect your WebSite from Fraudulent Traffic

← Prev

I use Google Analytics (GA4) to analyze web traffic and other metrics for my blog. Recently, I noticed unusual referral traffic from websites that appeared unauthentic. These sites were sending traffic to my website without my consent. Such unwanted traffic from unreliable sources can negatively impact your Google ranking. To protect your website, it's essential to list these fraudulent websites as unwanted referrals in Google Analytics. This action ensures that Google's search engine disregards traffic from these sources.
